Pharoe Charles Taze Russell.
by unclebruce ing'day apostates,.
i was reading an article in the latest issue of atlantis rising regarding the great pyramid's missing capstone and the 1902 story of the recovery in the desert sands just 20k south of cairo, of the capstone of amenemhet iii's pyramid.. .
it's dimensions (1.85m at the base by 1.4m height) had me think of the similarly sized pyramid placed nearby charles russell's grave (under which there are rumoured to be buried many books .. similar to the way my teenage bed was crammed under with old watchtower and awake!

I kind of liked it better when Deb didn't know who he really was and it was business as usual "I'll see you on my table later". I've heard there's only one more season and the recent developments seem like a prelude to an end of the series.

BBC Prehistoric Autopsy
by konceptual99 indid anyone see this on bbc 2 last night?
very interesting, especially the information on us sharing up to 4% of dna with neanderthals.
it seems there is some debate on if this is from a shared ancestor or interbreeding.

i'm very interested since I had my dna done by 23 andme and found out I have 3.1 neanderthal dna which is in the top 98% of what you can have of it.

Could you live with not talking to your JW family for the rest of your life?
by ÁrbolesdeArabia inone of greatest obstacles to leaving the organization is the destruction of the family unit.
as lady-lee wrote about oompa, i thought of this topic, the society says "this is their way to get wrong doing people to return to the loving arms of jehovah after they repent of their sins" .
i know of men and women who are in good standings and hate their fellow spiritual jw family, i am willing to bet, wager that "jw-hatred" exceeds the worlds hatred, something about a self-assured group versus the "not so self assured' creates one plucked up structure.

I believe that if the organization had the power they would institute their own brand of sharia law and they would execute anyone who disagreed with them. Right now all they can do is hold your family hostage and hope that works. They are an immoral and dangerous organization and i hope something terrible knocks them down to their knees.

Is the Watchtower Society Really God's Organization?
by wannabe inis the watchtower society really god's organization?.
the governing body of the watchtower society, makes the claim that they are god's, 'spirit directed organization', god's 'prophet, or mouthpiece'.
one would suppose that an organization that claims to know all the truths of the bible, would know that the coming prophet like moses, who was appointed over jehovah's house in the days of the israelite nation, would also know, that the coming prophet like moses, would be the one appointed over god's house when he arrived on the scene, when the due time arrived for the new covenant to go into force.
